Lars Nygaard

Lars Nygaard is a Senior Advisor at the National Archives of Norway, Oslo, Norway. He works on the development and maintenance of the archival source website “The Digital Archive”; preparing transcribed data files to be imported in the searchable database, adding metadata to digital sources, and specifying user services to be developed. He is also the representative of the National Archives in the project group of Historical Population Register (HPR), where automatic and interactive record linking are essential tasks.

Lars Nygaard maintains the website The Digital Archive, which offers visitors free access to digital archive material.
